DESIGNED FOR STYLE BUILT FOR COMFORT

While the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander makes a bold statement on the road with available sleek LED headlamps, chrome accents and 18" alloy wheels, its striking design is complemented by its distinctive and equally stylish interior. Immerse yourself in ultimate comfort with available premium leather seating surfaces, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, soft-touch upper instrument panel, gloss black and chrome interior detailing, and whisper-quiet cabin to further elevate the driving experience. The ample interior provides a massive 3,630 litres (128.2 cu. ft.) of passenger room for up to seven people and plenty of space for cargo. In fact, with all rear seats folded down, Outlander boasts a cavernous 1,792 litres (63.3 cu. ft.) of cargo-carrying capacity. Also, the 60/40-split second-row seats, combined with available 50/50-split third row seats, make entry and exit a breeze. For added versatility in the 7-seat models, the third-row seating easily stows away neatly when not in use. With so many interior refinements and a truly sophisticated design, whether escaping the city for new playgrounds or finding a winding route to the cottage, the Mitsubishi Outlander is built to enhance any occasion.

SUPERIOR CONTROL

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander really shines when it's put through its paces. Equipped with Mitsubishi Motors' revolutionary electronically controlled All-Wheel Control (AWC) system, front and rear torque distribution is managed via an electronically controlled coupling that distributes torque between the front and rear wheels appropriately at all times, based on vehicle driving conditions and driver input. Moving up to the S-AWC system used in the Outlander GT adds Active Front Differential (AFD) and Active Yaw Control (AYC), which control the brakes and power steering to regulate torque split between the left and right wheels. This results in further enhancement in the vehicle's ability to accurately maintain the chosen line through corners, straight-line driving, lane-changing manoeuvres, and maintaining traction and control on slippery surfaces. With a choice of two technologically advanced engines, driving the Outlander takes on an added dimension. Both the 166HP 2.4L 4 cylinder and the 224HP 3.0L 6 cylinder MIVEC engines are efficient and powerful. The available 6 cylinder MIVEC engine provides a robust 3,500 lb. towing capacity, providing effective towing for small watercraft and trailers. No matter how you drive your Mitsubishi Outlander, the result will always be a smart choice.

MULTI VIEW CAMERA SYSTEM (MVCS)

The available Multi View Camera System (MVCS) with a virtual 360° bird's-eye view provides a panoramic view of the area surrounding the vehicle. You can now master tight driveways, reveal blind spots, and park with confidence and safety.

ADVANCED SAFETY

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander's rock-solid cabin and body construction safeguard passengers through Mitsubishi Motors' Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) engineering. RISE takes innovative engineering technology to the next level. Straight frame structure, high tensile strength steel and highly efficient energy absorption are integral to RISE safety. Your utmost safety is enhanced by many available technologically advanced systems. Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) uses laser radar and camera technology to determine if a frontal collision with a vehicle or pedestrian is imminent;

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) uses radar technology to judge and maintain distances between you and the vehicle ahead; Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Lane Change Assist (LCA) will alert you when a vehicle is in or approaching your blind spot. Other active safety systems include Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) that detects a vehicle or person approaching from the side while you're backing up, and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) that uses an on-board camera to monitor lane position and alert the driver if the vehicle drifts outside the lane. With so much advanced safety on board, the Mitsubishi Outlander is constantly monitoring your well-being.

Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC)

The available Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC)* system features four driver selectable modes: ECO primarily uses Front Wheel Drive (FWD) to improve fuel efficiency until the moment the system detects wheel slippage; NORMAL pro-actively engages S-AWC during various driving conditions; SNOW for winter conditions; LOCK for low traction situations where equal traction is needed at each wheel.
